Clinical Profile

Dr Rebecca Schofield is a Consultant Cardiologist based at the Royal Free Hospital, North Central London, having previously worked at North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust for 8 years. During that time, she ran clinical cardiology sessions, acute medicine sessions, medical education, and leadership roles.

Dr Schofield was the Secondary Care Lead for the East of England Cardiac Network and held roles on the BSCI and BSE committees. She is currently the President of the British Nuclear Cardiology Society and part of the BCS Imaging Committee.

Her practice is patient-centred, and she actively participates in regular multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings, clinical governance reviews, and case reviews.

• Long-term cardiac effects of chronic endurance exercise in veteran athletes. Published in Circulation.
• Cardiac MRI in Patient Care. Published in Medical Independent.
• Out-of-Hospital Treatment of Acute Myocardial Infarction. Published in the Journal of Paramedic Practice.
